National Week of Prayer

Momentum Students!

This is the National Week of Prayer week for many churches around the world. What this means is that many churches and organizations will gather every night this week and just PRAY. Millions of prayer requests will be going to the Lord ranging from healing of the body, a job, salvation for a son or daughter, or wanting a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

At Warren First Assembly we will be having prayer services every night in the sanctuary for 1 hour. During that 1 hour you will have the opportunity to pray with other believers (if you desire), journal, pray with a pastor or youth leader, or simply just spend some quality time by yourself with the Lord.

I want to encourage you students to be really thinking about what you want God to do in your life this year. You might be going through a rough time with your family, struggling with keeping your grades up in school, having a hard time making friends,  or struggling with trying to find your identity. I don't know what it is, but I do know that God wants to help you. All you have to do is just ASK! Sometimes this is the hardest step because we as humans think we can do it on our own. We have this mentality that if I just keep waiting and waiting things are going to get better. Don't wait. Why Wait. Students you have the opportunity to talk to the God of the universe! The God who is bigger than all your problems, all your troubles,  and all your worries. A God who is so great, but yet so accessible. He makes Himself available for us, and actually desires to helps us in our times of need.

Students, will you believe? Will you believe that God wants to help you, guide you, and love you. I want you to also know that Momentum Student Ministries and the entire Youth Leadership Team is believing with you and for you for great things to happen in your life!
